Reflection Questions: Jesus – The True Fulfillment of the Law
1. Where in your life might you be like the child who “kicked instead of hit”—technically compliant but relationally disconnected?
2. God gave the Law to form hearts, not just habits. Where do you sense Jesus inviting you into deeper transformation—not just outward behavior but inner renewal?
3. Jesus fulfills Israel’s calling as a kingdom of priests and invites us to join. How are you reflecting God’s character daily, and where is the Spirit nudging you to shine more boldly?
4. How might you practice tzedakah (doing right by others) in your current relationships or responsibilities?
5. Jesus doesn’t just show us what to do—He gives us His Spirit to live it.
Where in your life are you leaning on your own strength rather than the Spirit’s empowering presence?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, you are the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets—not just the end of the story, but the living center of it all. You didn’t come to weigh me down with more demands, but to draw me into the life I was created for. Help me to see your life not just as a model to admire, but as a sacred invitation to follow. Give me a heart that longs to do right by others—not to be seen, not to perform, but to live in right relationship with you and with those around me. And Lord, I know I can’t do this on my own. Fill me with your Spirit. Shape my thoughts, my desires, my words, and my actions so that they reflect your heart. Let my life point to your Kingdom—in quiet faithfulness, in love, in truth, and in mercy. This world is aching for grace. Let it begin in me. I ask this in your holy and beautiful name, Amen.
