Are you feeling weary, uncertain, or struggling to see God’s promises fulfilled in your life? In this sermon, Holding On to the Hope of God’s Promise, we explore how the unshakable hope of God carried His people through suffering, exile, and even death.
From Joseph’s final words in Egypt to Ezekiel’s vision of dry bones to the ultimate restoration in Revelation, we see that God’s promises never fail. Joseph refused to let Egypt define his future—he held onto God’s greater plan. Ezekiel saw God breathe life into what seemed beyond repair. And Revelation reminds us that the hope of resurrection and renewal is not just wishful thinking—it is the reality of God’s coming kingdom.
Where do you find yourself in God’s story? Are you wrestling like Jacob, enduring hardship like Joseph, or feeling spiritually dry like Israel in exile? The good news is this: God meets you right where you are and calls you to hold onto a hope that will never fade.
Join us as we discover how to live with courage, faith, and confidence in the promises of God—a hope that looks beyond this life and into eternity.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the unshakable hope You have given me in Your promises. You have remained faithful from generation to generation, and I trust that You are faithful to me as well.
Like Joseph, I want to trust in Your promises, even when I cannot yet see their fulfillment. Like Jacob, I surrender my striving and wrestling, knowing that You are the one who holds my future. Like Ezekiel, I believe that Your Spirit can bring life to dry bones, restoring what seems beyond repair.
Lord, fix my eyes not on what is temporary, but on the eternal hope I have in Christ. Help me to live each day in the confidence that You are making all things new. Until that day, strengthen me to live with courage, perseverance, and unwavering hope.
I hold onto this hope because You are faithful. I rest in Your promises because Your word never fails.
Come, Lord Jesus, and make all things new.
Amen.
