Description

What does it mean to live “the good life”? In this message, we explore Jesus’ radical vision through three powerful Beatitudes:
– Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness
– Blessed are the merciful
– Blessed are the pure in heart
Far from offering comfort or success, Jesus points us to a life shaped by justice, overflowing with mercy, and rooted in authentic integrity. This sermon invites us to examine our own hunger for righteousness, extend undeserved mercy, and live with a heart fully aligned with God.
Whether you’re longing for change in the world or seeking transformation within, this message will challenge and encourage you to live the kind of life God blesses—the life He can trust with His Kingdom

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
1. Where does injustice most deeply disturb you? What specific actions might God be calling you to take?
2. Think of someone difficult to love in your life. What would showing them mercy look like this week?
3. In what area of your life do you struggle most with divided loyalty or compartmentalization?
4. How might you cooperate with the Holy Spirit in cultivating greater authenticity and integrity?
5. Of these three Beatitudes, which challenges you most personally? Why?
Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
You’ve shown me what the good life truly is—not ease or success, but a heart shaped by Your righteousness, mercy, and truth. Give me a hunger for justice that goes beyond comfort or convenience. Help me care about what breaks Your heart. Wake me up to the pain around me, and give me the courage to act where I can make a difference. Teach me to live with mercy. Remind me of the mercy You’ve shown me—again and again—and help me extend that same grace to others. Search my heart, God. Make me pure—not perfect, but honest. I don’t want to live with divided loyalties or perform faith just to look good. I want to walk with integrity, to be the same person in private as I am in public, and to live close to Your presence. Shape me into someone You can trust with Your Kingdom. Let my life reflect Your goodness and truth—not because I’ve earned it, but because You are changing me from the inside out. Thank You for the promise that I will be filled, that I will receive mercy, and that I will see You. I hold on to those promises today.
In Your name I pray,
Amen.
