Have you ever started a project with enthusiasm only to leave it unfinished? We all have those moments. But, thankfully, God isn’t like us—He never leaves His work undone! In this sermon, we explore the powerful message in Philippians 1:1-11, where Paul reminds us that “the one who began a good work in you will thoroughly complete it by the day of Messiah Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).
Despite writing from a prison cell, Paul expresses joy and confidence in God’s faithfulness to complete the good work He began in each of us. He introduces himself as a “slave of Christ,” challenging us to see our identity and purpose through the lens of servitude to Jesus. In a world where status and titles often take center stage, Paul shows us that true authority comes from being fully surrendered to Christ.
Join us as we unpack what it means to trust God’s ongoing work in our lives, even when things feel incomplete or when life takes unexpected turns. Reflect with us on how we can cultivate a heart of joy, confidence, and gratitude, knowing that God is faithful to complete what He has started in each of us.
